The Family Health Center of Eagle Butte began operations in 1992. In 2010, we moved into a new, well-designed building with five exam rooms, one treatment room, laboratory facilities and digital x-ray technology. Our facility is a Veteran’s Administration Community-Based Outpatient Center (CBOC) through the Ft. Meade VA Hospital in Ft. Meade, SD. The center is staffed with one on-site Physician’s Assistant, Valarie Brown, PA-C and two Certified Nurse Practitioner, Carla Schweitzer, CNP and Kathryn Hettinger, CNP.
