Fairview Municipal Golf Course, within the city limits of Caldwell, Idaho, has character and charm that reflects well on the city that surrounds it. This course, built in the 1930's, also has great turf. A wonderful variety of trees provides a true park-like setting and a friendly staff is willing to serve you at a well stocked Pro Shop.
Summary of the holes: No. 1 (315 yards, par 4): Wide fairway that narrows, green hidden behind grove of trees. No. 2 (127 yards, par 3): Shortest hole, straight forward, green is mounded. No. 3 (248 yards, par 4): 10th Avenue on the left, trees and houses on the right. Out of bounds on No. 3 is defined by telephone poles. Way to play is a 200-yard drive to the corner. No. 4 (183 yards, par 3): Street on right, beware bad bounces into traffic. No. 5 (435 yards, par 5): Longest hole, dogleg right with postage stamp green. A No. 5 tee shot that rests on or right of the burned line is a one stroke penalty and played where it lies. No. 6 (311 yards, par 4). No. 7 (319 yards, par 4) Signature hole for the course. Out of bounds is the school yard on the right and the creek on the left. It also has the smallest green on the course. No. 8 (134 yards, par 3). No. 9 (428 yards, par 4) The creek running through the course is played as a lateral hazard.
