Evergreen Farms is family owned and operated since 1993. Soon after moving to the farm, Linda and Bob Hutchinson were married on it. Since then, they have maintained a working horse farm and they open during the Christmas season for trees and old-fashioned homespun decor.

It is a favorite spot for many families including kids who used to come with their parents and are now full-grown and bring their own children.

Prior to the Hutchinson's arrival, it was a working farm for Buckalew basketmakers. The home is the original Buckalew residence dating back 150 years. Historic home tours are available on request.
