Elder Row Stables

Elder Row Stables is a full service horse breeding, training, lesson and boarding facility, located 2 miles east of Westville, Illinois.

Our breeding program has expanded to include beautiful sport horses, purebred Arabians and Warmblood crosses. Our training puts emphasis on safe and polite horses with excellent ground manners. We also specialize in the discipline of Dressage. Owner, trainer and manager Sheila McElwee is a Parelli 3rd Level student, an educator with 20 years experience as a teacher in the classroom, and a trainer with 30 years experience giving riding lessons. Sheila has earned her USDF bronze and silver medals.
