East Side Art Studio is an historic East Valley artist community homesteaded in the 1930’s by visionary artist Benhardt Michelson and expanded in the 60's by artist Katherine Leegate. Facilities at ESA include the art supply store with classroom and art gallery, a custom framing shop, and nine artists’ studios on the properties’ five acres of natural desert garden.
