East Central Ohio Audubon Society

PO Box 55
Granville, OH 43023

The East Central Ohio Audubon Society was founded in January of 1993 several years after its predecessor in the region became inactive. A leadership group met in the fall of 1992 to discuss goals, objectives, interests and purposes and determined that the interest and energy were sufficient to launch and carry forth the effort. Since that time the chapter has strived to carry out its mission through varied and fun education programs, increased sponsorship of the popular Audubon Adventures program, support of local research and conservation efforts, support of National Audubon Society and Audubon Ohio conservation efforts, and increased public awareness through press releases, newsletters and a web site.
