About Us:

The Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library (DMSML) was name after Marine Lance Corporal Dustin Michael Sekula. Dustin was the first Edinburg native to be killed during Iraqi Freedom War; he was 18 years of age when he lost his life defending our country.

As the public library for the City of Edinburg, we strive to empower our community though various services and programs and we acknowledge that education is the key to individual success. Therefore, we actively promote early literacy programs and encourage lifelong learning and the continued quest for knowledge.

The DMSML through Edinburg Arts encourages, promotes and celebrates the Arts of our community.
