Durand Eastman Beach

The beach, on Lakeshore Drive (map), is part of Durand Eastman Park, one of  Rochester area's four-season natural gems. The beach boasts 5,000 feet of Lake Ontario waterfront; the Park also features steep wooded slopes, valleys, scenic vistas, small lakes, spring flowering trees and wildlife including swans, turkeys, and fox; and spectacular fall foliage colors.

Swimming is supervised by beach guards in its designated area (Lot A).  All staff are trained in lifesaving, First Aid and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
