About Us:

Our newly renovated 18-hole golf course offers a beautiful and relaxed setting, well-maintained greens and fairways and provides players a challenging and satisfying golf experience. Nestled sweetly in coastal North Carolina minutes from Duplin airport, take advantage of moderate climates with year-round play at Duplin Country Club. Located at 148 Duplin Country Club Road in Kenansville, North Carolina, the course was built in 1962 as a nine-hole recreational golf course for local sportsmen before transitioning into an 18-hole course in later years. Ushering in a new era of Duplin Country Club history, the club was purchased in 2014 as a private country club. Purchased by local owners, Lee Swinson, John Kilpatrick and Stan Draughon, these partners envisioned the club as not only a venue for area sportsmen to improve their game, but as a “home place” where members can come together and enjoy good times with family and friends.

Redesigned by regional land sculptor and club owner John Kilpatrick, whose work includes Duke University Golf Club, North Shore Country Club and Devils Ridge among others, the new course is among the best in the Southeast.  Playing 6,400 yards par 72 from the championship tees, the course with its beautifully tree-lined fairways and newly sprigged “Champion” Bermuda greens offer a challenge for all skill levels. The recent renovation not only restored natural and strategic characteristics of the original design but completely transformed bunkers, tees and putting greens and installed new cart paths, creating a remarkable new course design at Duplin Country Club.
