Dumas Community Theater

Post Box 493
Dumas, AR 71639

In 1979, the Dumas Community Theater was formed and began to offer locally produced plays and musicals for children and adults. Crowd favorites have been the summer musicals for Ding Dong Days, especially Oklahoma and Camelot. In 1991, the organization was renamed Dumas Area Arts Council and expanded into Dance, Visual Arts, Music, and the Humanities. Special performances by other groups such as Arkansas Arts Council touring programs and Shakespeare Festival of Arkansas are also featured.
