Due West United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch

The PUMPKIN PATCH is our Youth Ministries annual fundraising event. Each year the church receives several semi-truck loads of pumpkins that turn our front lawn into a field of orange during the month of October.   It takes the whole church involvement to support this huge event.

The patch has generated thousands of dollars to support our youth mission trips, retreats, and activities. These funds help to ensure that all youth can participate in experiences that develop friendships and draw them closer to Jesus.

The Pumpkin Patch is also a way for our church to be involved with the community. Friends and neighbors come year after year to enjoy the pumpkins.  Many families mark the occasion with photographs of their children taken each year.  As a part of the fall harvest celebration, several preschools and elementary schools also visit the patch.
