Mission Statement

The Dubuque County Library shall provide materials and services to help county residents obtain information meeting their recreational, personal and educational needs. Special emphasis is placed on supporting students at all academic levels and on stimulating young children's interests and appreciation for reading and learning. The library will seek to use all relevant technology to carry out its mission. The library is concerned with people who presently have no access to library service and will work to remedy that situation. It shall also develop alternate methods of access for individuals with special needs, especially the homebound.

Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Sunday: CLOSED
