Drop In Action Sports Complex

The DROP IN ACTION SPORTS COMPLEX was established in 2013 in West Boca Raton, Florida by Cindi Shendell (president) to provide a safe place for teens who need an activity area for action sports like skateboarding, BMX, Freestyle Scooter, Flatland BMX and Blading, where they could find community like minded to share time with. Ms. Shendell is a single parent of a teen and has worked hard to provide her son with just this kind of activity. She has an extensive background in sports of all types and has been a coach in several academic environments. She knows what support her audience needs and how to help them be sports successful with all of the benefits the sports provide. She has seen the variety of space and environments available to teens for this kind of activity and has designed this park to have the best of all there is available, demonstrating the benefits of community collaboration to build leadership skills and strong values within our youth.

The Park is a 1.75 acres action sports complex located at Loggers' Run Park 11185 Palmetto Park Rd., Boca Raton, FL 33428. It will be operated as a non-profit foundation committed to serving the community and people in a unique and positive way.
