About Us :
The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library opened on November 7, 1988. Construction of the new library was funded through the 1984 passage of a $15.8 million Library Construction Bond. The library serves the residents of Upper Tacoma and is named in honor of the slain civil rights leader.
