Downtown Branch

Founded in 1891, the Joplin Family Y is a member-supported, nonprofit organization committed to serving Joplin, MO, and the surrounding area. We build strong kids, strong families and strong communities through two full-service fitness facilities that offer fitness equipment, nutritional counseling, personal training and over 94 group exercise classes per week. In addition, we are the largest provider of childcare in the community, serving children ages 8 weeks through 14 years of age through afterschool care, day camp and a stand-alone childcare center. Our YMCA touches the lives of over 10,000 members and approximately 1,000 program participants per year.
