DOGS of Vernon was established in February 2007 as a community effort to create a dog park in Vernon.Â Our effort is inspired by the success of the Wantage dog park, which, although large, is so popular that we don't expect it will be able to handle the demand from Vernon and all the other nearby towns.

We are recognized by the Federal and State authorities as a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit corporation.
