Our mission is to provide a full-time hands-on learning center, The Discovery Playhouse, for the families of the Cape Girardeau region. The Discovery Playhouse provides an interactive, self-sustaining learning center where children, families and community members play, learn and discover a love for science, the arts and the world around them.
The Southeast Missouri Children's Museum is a member of the Association of Children's Museums, which provides support and information.
