Desert Rose RV Park

Not quite as far as Lake Tahoe is the State Capitol of Carson City Nevada. With its charming downtown historical district, a historical museum, children's museum, and architecturally significant state government buildings, Carson City is a wonderful day trip from our park. On the drive to Carson City get off the main road and visit several of northern Nevada's small historical towns including Virginia City.

Just west of Desert Rose RV Park is one of northern Nevada's best places to visit. Reno Nevada, “The biggest little City.” With some of the country's best gaming facilities, tons of shopping and more restaurants than you can count, this City is worth at least a couple of days to explore. Not only that, but Reno hosts numerous festivals and Expos throughout the year at the Reno/Tahoe Expo Center.

Fallon Nevada just East of Desert Rose RV Park, is home to Fallon Naval Air Station. It is here that many of the top Navy pilots are trained and stationed. There are Air shows throughout the year and numerous displays of flying prowess takes place here.

Fernley Nevada, your home base when staying at Desert Rose RV Park, is a small town with all the amenities you will need to make your stay here comfortable and convenient. With a Lowes, Super Wal-Mart, Scolari's grocery store, and several local and fast food restaurants, to say nothing or our local gaming establishments, Fernley is also a place to visit. Local Rodeo's, festivals and farmers markets make Fernley a great place to stay while you explore the area.

Desert Rose RV Park wants your stay to be comfortable and pleasant. We have a friendly staff that can help you find your way around the area, recommend a local restaurant, and provide you with maps, brochures and information about what is happening in the area while you are here. In addition we have a beautiful, clean and spacious laundry, recreation room and shower house at your disposal 24 hours a day. With a lending library, magazines, tables for doing projects or puzzles, it will enhance your stay with us and provide you with all the amenities you need. Desert Rose RV Park has long concrete pull-through sites that make getting in and out easy and quick. Each of our sites is landscaped and equipped with 20/30/50 amp service, water, sewer and cable TV, and we have free WIFI service throughout the park.
