About

The Main Library has over 50 full time staff members and dozens of library aides. Main Library staff specialize in business resources, non-profit resources, genealogy, computer training, local history, and audio-visual materials. The Main Library offers dozens of programs each month for adults, teens, and youth.

The Library is an active partner in the growth and development of the region. Working closely with the Downtown Dayton Partnership, Downtown Dayton Priority Board, Five Rivers Metro Parks, Learn to Earn Dayton, ReadySetSOAR, SCORE, The Job Center, Welcome Dayton, Project Read, Montgomery County Public Health Department, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Genealogy Society, and The Dayton Foundation, the Library offers programming, resources, and partnership for all ages and every stage of education, empowerment, and engagement.
