Dayle Dunn Gallery

Half Moon Bay, CA 94019

The Gallery offers a variety of art, accommodating both the casual interest and the avid collector. Artwork is focused on both two- and three-dimensional media selected by a criteria that demands uniqueness, quality and the ability to stand alone. This dedication to quality extends itself to service as well. "We want to provide the total experience, so that the process of finding and selecting a piece of art at the Dayle Dunn Gallery is as enjoyable as the art itself." For instance, the gallery will keep track of your favorite artist's current projects or keep you informed of trends in a particular medium. Services such as art consultation for the home and office, and local delivery and installation are also available. Beginning at the front door to the gallery, the visitor is met by a dramatic expanse of space as the ceiling rises two floors. Minimal windows line the room's ceiling so as to add a delicate amount of natural, non-harmful light to the artwork. Halfway back a spiral staircase winds upward to a mezzanine overlooking the gallery with expansive views of the beautiful Half Moon Bay coastline and the second floor of the gallery. In addition to art, the Dayle Dunn Gallery reaches out to its community to share the beauty of its location in a myriad of ways; rental of the space for corporate events, or hosting of special events benefiting the coastside community, such as children's readings and gallery tours for elementary school age children, and an annual Gala in October - a catered event featuring an expanded collection of artists and their art!
