The DAR Museum showcases the furnishings and decorative arts of pre-industrial America with permanent and changing exhibitions in two galleries.

A highlight of visiting the museum is viewing the 31 Period Rooms that depict regional or period American interiors from the 17th to the early 20th century.

The museum is free to the public and includes a museum store dedicated to carrying books and educational toys and gifts.
