Cumberland County Library System
The Cumberland County Library System has both a rich history and a bright future.
The library system was established by the board for the improvement and extension of library services, and to enable the Board to qualify for additional state aid on behalf of the seven local public libraries. Bylaws for the board were formally adopted in 1967.
Mission Statement:
To plan, develop, coordinate and provide comprehensive public library services for residents.
