Covered Bridge Ranch is a family owned and operated ranch situated in the productive valley of Southwestern Colorado at the base of the San Juan mountain range. We are located near Montrose, Colorado and home to Colorado Conifers wholesale tree nursery and Christmas tree farm.

Throughout the year, we welcome the public to our scenic 300-acre ranch for festive events such as the popular family traditions, Christmas Trees at the Covered Bridge and Pumpkins at the Covered Bridge.

Hay and grass-fed longhorn cattle are also available at the ranch—there is much to be discovered here!

Covered Bridge Ranch was created by Gary Riessen as part of a 50 year career in the tree farm industry.  Gary is joined by his wife, Judy, and daughter, Natalie Riessen, along with Lucy, the family dog and ever popular ranch welcome greeter. Gary and Judy also have two more daughters, Shannon and Ginger, and four grandchildren. 

The entire Riessen family can be seen during the Thanksgiving weekend opening of Christmas Trees at the Covered Bridge. They join other families in creating family traditions around those special family holidays and events.
