We, at the Courtenay Language Arts Center, are committed to providing an academically stimulating and emotionally nurturing environment to all students.  We are committed to educating students at all levels of abilities.  We believe in providing experiences, opportunities and options which fosters intellectual, social, and technological skills in the best environment suited to the individual.  We will prepare our students for the future so they will become productive members of a global society.

We will accomplish this by offering viable programs between school, home and community.  We will construct an inclusive environment of excellence, responsibility and diversity, which fosters intellectual, social and technological skills, accomplished through language arts literacy, professional development, and parent/community support.
