About Us:

The new Cornelius Wellness Center opened to patients on October 29, 2012. The groundbreaking facility was designed to promote wellness andincludes a commercial teaching kitchen, group visit space, public greenways, community gardens and exercise space.

The original Cornelius Clinic was established in 1975 to serve migrant, seasonal farm worker and day laborer population. Staff provided a wide range of health care services to 6,700 patients annually, with a special emphasis on behavioral health and diabetes care. The opening of the new Wellness Center will allow Virginia Garcia to double the number of patients served in Cornelius.
