Cooperation Park

This large park is located two miles south of downtown Indian River and covers 51.78 acres. It has six baseball fields, a skateboard park, thee tennis courts, a basketball court, horseshoe pits, ice/roller rink, and seven soccer fields! The park also features a lighted ice rink for the winter months, a lighted sledding hill and cross-country ski trails that double as walking trails in the warmer months.

Changes are continuously being made to the park. In recent years the park added a 5,900 square foot, fenced, play structure encircled with a walking track. In 2005 Cooperation Park added a warming hut for the skating rink; and, the park has its own Zambonie machine to condition the ice.
