Co-op Farmers Market

Mission:

The mission of the Co-op Farmers Market is to provide the opportunity for the Newark community to come together and enjoy shopping for a variety of locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs and plants harvested sustainably with natural and organic farming methods, baked goods, prepared foods, art, handicrafts, and other locally produced items.

Market Goals:

 - Provide an opportunity to "buy local" produce.

 - Support farm families, agriculture, and the environment.

 - Preserve the small town feel of the Newark community.

 - Help build a sense of community and raise awareness on environmental and health issues.
