The mission of the Conyers-Rockdale Library System is to provide an organized repository of knowledge; encourage lifelong learning and the love of books and reading; offer free and equal access to the library programs, information services, and public facilities, improving the quality of life for the people of Rockdale County.

The Nancy Guinn Memorial Library is named for Mrs. Nancy Graham Guinn, a founder and first president of the Conyers Civic League. Today the Nancy Guinn Memorial Library houses 100,000 books and audiobooks, and videocassettes, compact discs, and other material. The library is centrally located in Old Town Conyers, at 864 Green Street in a beautiful building which opened in 1990
