Conservatory Vocal Arts Festival

The UMKC Conservatory Vocal Arts Festival provides rewarding music experiences for middle and high school students and their teachers. Nationally recognized conductors and UMKC faculty host a full schedule small and large group rehearsals, masterclasses, and professional clinics, offering in-service time and personal growth. Students will sing in one of three choirs, Middle School Vocal Arts Ensemble, High School Vocal Arts Ensemble, and the High School Chamber Ensemble. All ensembles will present a culminating Final Performance at the end of the festival that will include selected vocal soloists along with choral groups. Combined ensembles will sing a combined piece conducted by Dr. Eph Ehly.
