Community Mental Health Center (Ruston Behavioral Health Clinic)

The Ruston Behavioral Health Clinic provides outpatient mental health services to the residents of Lincoln and Union Parishes. We serve the chronic and persistently mentally ill adults. Services are available to the severely emotionally and behaviorally disturbed youth age 5 and above. The clinic is staffed with Social Workers, Nurses, Psychiatrist, Psychologist and other support staff who provide screenings, evaluations and counseling services. Crisis services are available. Referrals are made for inpatient psychiatric care, as needed. When appropriate, referrals are made to other Agencies providing services to the Office of Mental Health through contractual agreements. Other referrals are made for those persons seeking services who do not meet the target population criteria.

There is a Consumer run Drop-In Center available in Ruston for mental health consumers.  An outreach medication clinic is available, for established clients, in Farmerville twice a month. Fees for our services are based on income, family size, etc. Medicare, Medicaid and Private Insurance are accepted and billed.
