About Us:

The Collins Zoo was established well over 20 years ago. Beginning first as a rescue facility to exotic animals, the Collins Zoo has now become home to the largest exhibit of big cats in the state. The Collins Zoo also houses an extenzsive reptile collection , many exotic birds, and wolves in addition to several species of smaller cats as well.

The Collins Zoo is funded privately , relying solely on donations and admissions fees.  Any donation, whether in the form of money, volunteer time, of building materials is greatly appreciated and is guaranteed to be used strictly for the care and upkeep of these beautiful animals, many of whom would have been put to sleep if not for the intervention of the caring people at the Collins Zoo.
