S.P. Jermain touched several important golf venues in the last 100+ years. First it was Ottawa Park Golf Course in the late 1890’s, then it was Inverness as its first President and finally it was Collins Park Golf Course in 1932. S.P. Jermain was known as the father of Toledo’s Park system which included all of the golf courses and Toledo’s Boulevard system of roads.

Master Golf Management Group now operates the three city golf courses. Detwiler Park and Ottawa Park are already in top playing condition and Collins Park is ready to be returned to it’s former status that the local east side golfers commonly called their golf course “Collins Park Country Club” or even “Inverness East.” Greg Fish, COO of Master Golf is committed to returning Collins Park Golf Course to its place in history. “There is 78 years of memories in this ground, we need to preserve it and put the energy into this great golf course.”

MGMG has appointed Allen Nemecek as the new golf course superintendent, he grew up there and he knows the property as well as anyone. He is proud to be the man in charge of the grounds and he is on a mission to improve Collins Park Golf Course to excellent playing conditions.
