Mission:

The mission of the Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra is to promote and perpetuate classical and semi-classical music and to provide the opportunity to perform and to hear this music through an annual series of concerts.

About Us:

With a history of more than thirty years performing classical and popular music, the Coeur d’Alene Symphony is one of the leading performing arts organizations in the region. We are a local, non-profit organization with a broad base of corporate and individual sponsors. We draw our musicians and our audiences from Coeur d’Alene and the surrounding Inland Northwest area, including northern Idaho, eastern Washington, and western Montana.

In addition to performing the core classical orchestral repertoire, the Coeur d’Alene Symphony actively partners with other local groups to engage in opera, dance, and choral performances. We also perform new music by living composers.

Values:

We believe that the presence of a symphony in a community is a vital necessity, a defining spirit of skill, talent, and life. As such, our symphony is a marker of our community’s development, both culturally and educationally.
