Clouds and Clover Race Horse Rescue

Mission:

It all starts from the heart, A passion that pushes us into reaching out to save these magnificent creatures that was put on earth to roam our land, for us to enjoy there beauty and companionship. What has happened is that some of these animals are being abused or neglected? All they ask for is a place to live with some food- water and shelter would be something they don't get in the wild sometimes. Regardless of past mistreatment's or abuses, these horses continue to trust the people who's hands they fall into.

Our mission is to help ex-racehorse and other unfortunate horses find good homes and careers. Our goal is to show the race horse people there are options for these horses without shipping them to auctions where they go for slaughter or send them off the track to places the owners/trainers do not want to know where they are headed. these horses can have a life after a racing career. When entered into our program they are evaluated, rested and rehabilitated as needed. When ready they are available to the public for adoption.

Children from all over the US are invited to come and spend time at our facility to learn how to be safe around horses and care for them, to find out what owning a horse is all about. Those who want to own a horse can earn one in our program with a sponsor helping with the adoption fee. The funds are used to feed-care-transport- rehabilitate and support our program.

A lot of the work is done by the founder of CloudsAndClover, the rest is done by volunteers. The expense is supported by the founder and contributions from the public. Any support and Contributions are greatly appreciated. It will make a difference, any items can be useful in one way or another.
