About Us:
Founded in 1918, The Cleveland Orchestra was ranked by Gramophone Magazine (2008) in the Top Ten Orchestras in the World. The Orchestra has a long tradition of international acclaim that is continuing with high demand for its concerts under its current music director, Franz Welser-Möst. In concerts at home at Cleveland's Severance Hall, during its Blossom Festival season each summer; and on tour and in Miami, The Cleveland Orchestra continues to set standards of performing excellence and imaginative programming that serve as models for audiences and performers alike.
