Children's Theatre of Annapolis is a community based, non-profit organization, dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of children ages 8 - 18, through participation in all aspects of the theatrical experience including:

Performance
Workshops
Technical Elements
Community Involvement
Apprenticeships

CTA provides a positive circle of influence through friendships that foster self esteem, creativity, commitment, teamwork, appreciation, and dedication. CTA serves the child and the community.

CTA was organized in 1959 and incorporated in 1962. It is supported by the sale of tickets for productions, as well as by regular and special memberships. CTA affords youth of the Annapolis area the opportunity to experience the dramatic arts. Plays are performed by young people for a family audience and workshops are sponsored to teach creative dramatics, vocal, dance, acting techniques, and production skills.
