Children's Gallery

40 West Main Street
Carmel, IN 46032

317-582-1455

In January, 1998, the Carmel Arts Council’s Children’s Art Gallery was formally opened by Mayor James Brainard.

The gallery was the first art gallery in the Carmel Arts and Design District.

The building was originally a wing from the 1875 Zina Warren home, and moved to 30 West Main Street in 1975 for the nation’s Bicentennial.

The gallery was moved to its current location at 40 West Main Street in 2005. The gallery exhibits artwork of local kindergarten through 6th grade children from private and public schools, as well as local middle schools and high schools.

Hours:

The gallery is open from September through May on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 2:00-4:00pm (excluding holidays) and by appointment. Visit our Calendar of Events to find out which school will have its artwork on display.

With the increasing activity in the Carmel Arts and Design District, the gallery will open for special events and exhibits during the summer months.
