City ordinance requires dogs to be leashed until entering the off-leash area. Owners are required to clean up after their dogs. Bags are available. Park rules and etiquette are posted on the park kiosk. Amenities include water for owners and dogs and a portable restroom.

The park consists of 13.8 acres of fenced canine recreation yards. The main yard includes walking trails, benches and a shelter as well as mowed and naturalized areas. The training yard is separately fenced for dog training and for preparing dogs socially for the main yard. The small dog yard allows smaller dogs to enjoy off-leash exercise in a more controlled environment. Amenities include water for owners and dogs and a portable restroom near the entry area to the park.
