About

Housed in the 1914 Chester County Jail, the  Chester County Historical Society Museum and Archives houses a fine and varied collection of Chester County Artifacts.  Our Collections includes Catawba Pottery, one of the largest and finest  Native American Projectile Point collections in the Southeastern USA, over 80 long rifles and 35 hand guns in our Gun Collection, An ordinance of Secession, the Aaron Burr Bench, Coca Cola Bottle Collection, The Samuel McAliley Parlour, and More

Operating Hours

TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY 10 am - 3 pm and by appointment.  

Private and Group tours by appointment.

Admission

Seniors and Students $3.00   Adults $5.00 

Chester County Public School Teachers and Students FREE.

Mission

The  mission of the Chester County  Historical Society Museum and Archives is to foster historical tourism in Chester County by providing reference, research, and historic site  information to the general public and to assist all researchers whenever possible.
