This 20 acre park is located on Pryor Road between 3rd Street and Longview Road. Ten acres of the park were purchased in 1982. The remaining 10 acres were donated by the Erichson and Gibson families of Kansas City, MO. This park was renovated in 2008 and is home to LSPR's adult softball league and features lighted softball fields, playgrounds, walkways and a concession stand with restrooms. The park is named after a LS police officer that lost his life in a rescue attempt.
