About The Chapman
The Chapman Historical Museum presents the history of the Glens Falls - Queensbury community and its connection to the Adirondack region. By encouraging discovery, understanding, and appreciation of the region’s heritage, the museum provides perspective for the present and the future.
To accomplish this purpose the Chapman Historical Museum:
- Presents exhibitions and programs that encourage greater understanding of the area’s history.
- Collects and preserves artifacts and archival materials that document the unique history of the area.
- Maintains a research center that provides public access to the museum’s collections and archives.
- Disseminates historical information about the area through publications and electronic media.
