Mission

To serve as a catalyst for developing and implementing plans for the construction, operation and maintenance of the Central-Carver Museum, which will preserve and enhance the culture of the African American community.

Vision

A broad community support system that magnifies education, community development, and cultural aspects of life; community partnerships.

Preservation and conservation of one’s heritage and legacy.

Cultural and academic needs of the under-served and uneducated needs minimized.

Development of high esteem behavior among the youth; and inclusiveness and diverse community investments.

Promotion of Central-Carver principles, ideals, and convictions to promote a “place in the sun.”
