About Us:
I'd like to take this time to tell you a little about how we got started. Cedarwood Pumpkin Patch is a family owned business. The Pumpkin Patch got its start in 2001 when the owner's son Luke wanted to plant some pumpkins. Buddy and Luke planted about 8 acres of pumpkins. Once they planted the pumpkins they wondered what to do with them after they came up. Buddy's wife Jan, who is a school teacher suggested having a pumpkin patch where kids could come out and experience country life and learn how a farm works. And so the Pumpkin Patch was invented.
Every year we try to enhance the pumpkin patch by adding to our activities and changing the setup, so that every year you see something different. We started out with just a hay maze, corn maze and hay ride and now we have over 20 activities to learn and have fun at. We also have a Country Store for your decorating needs as well as a Country Kitchen to help fill you tummy. We would like to take this time to invite everyone to visit us at the Pumpkin Patch for some good country fun so bring a group or just family and friends I know you'll have a good time. Oh, make sure you come out and see us on Friday or Saturday nights and enjoy roasting hot dogs over a fire. Hope to see you soon.
