About Us:
The Carytown Market is a small scale producer only market. It was created to give local farmers, producers of goods, and consumers the opportunity to deal directly with each other, rather than through third parties. The market not only offers visitors a chance to buy locally from area farmers but also to shop at the many unique stores on Cary Street.
With hundreds of locally owned shops, boutiques, restaurants and specialty stores, there’s something for everyone in Carytown.
Carytown was voted “Best Neighborhood to Shop In” by Southern Living Magazine’s readers.
The whole family will enjoy many festivals and events that Carytown has to offer! From the Watermelon Festival to the Food & Wine Festival, from Scarytown to the Farmers Market, there is always something to look forward to on your calendar.
