Name an event, and the Carl Perkins Civic Center can fit the bill. A true multipurpose building, the Civic Center offers a main stage and auditorium with seating for 2,200 that is perfect for a symphony orchestra, stage shows, concerts, large meetings and conventions. 

The main floor area can be used for dining seating, as well as convention and trade show display space. Available movable partitions can be used to subdivide the lower level into meeting and banquet areas. Additional meeting rooms are available on the mezzanine corridors and at street level.

The Civic Center offers a box office, catering facilities, well-appointed restrooms and a large, well-lit parking lot.

Built in 1973, the Civic Center has hosted a wide range of cultural, trade and civic events. It is home to the Miss Tennessee Pageant, the Jackson Symphony and Ballet Arts. Artists who have performed here include Rodney Carrington, Olivia Newton-John, The Temptations, Larry the Cable Guy, Allison Krauss, Ricky Skaggs, Wilson Phillips, Three Dog Night and Daughtry.
