These long time citizens of the community had a strong insight and mission to gather and preserve materials relating to the history of Canby, Oregon. Within a year, the society received notice of its designation as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Canby Historical Society continues as an active civic organization and its members collect artifacts, photographs and stories on behalf of the society.
