Idyllwild's funnest and funkiest fine dining establishment, Cafe Aroma is the hot spot in Idyllwild. Join us for espresso - freshly made with Wild Rock beans custom-roasted for Cafe Aroma - and one of our world-famous scones in the morning. Or, take in the clean mountain air and panoramic view of Tahquitz Peak while enjoying a relaxing lunch on our FREE wi-fi enabled deck...the inspiration of Aroma's gracious owner, Hubert Halkin, Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at UCSD.

Romance awaits you in the evening at Aroma. Linger over an intimate candlelight dinner as you are entertained by the talent of our jazz quartets, flamenco guitarists or classic blues combos. Our diverse Event Calendar is full of music to accommodate the wide range of tastes of our guests...or you just might be surprised by an impromptu performance by one of the staff.

Working in tandem with some of California's best rising young culinary stars, Aroma conceptualist Frank Ferro blends his Italian grandmother's time-tested classic recipes with unique new ingredients to create beautiful dishes with French, Nuevo Latino & Asian twists. But, don't forget to savor the traditional Italian fare on the Aroma menu as well - our lasagne is out of this world!

Regularly updated fine art exhibits are displayed throughout the Cafe and Library. As one of America's premiere small art towns, Idyllwild is blessed to be called home by many gifted artists working in a wide variety of mediums.
