Burnt Meadow Mountain Trail

From ME Rt. 160 to the summit of North Peak (elev. 1575 ft.), northernmost peak of the Burnt Meadow Mountains mass. Trail, designated by a blue blaze, leaves a parking area along ME Route 160 (elev. 430 ft.) and ascends the shoulders and south facing ledges of the broad eastern spur of the North Peak, weaving in and out of forests and ledge onto the summit after a short scramble up the uppermost ledges to the summit (elev. 1575 ft.); approx. 1.3 miles in length.
