Buford Pusser Home and Museum

About Us:

The Buford Pusser Home and Museum stands as a moment in time, as if waiting for Sheriff Buford Pusser to return home from another shift serving the public. The modest brick ranch home contains the original furnishings, photos, cars, guns and memorabilia of the Pusser family.

Mission:

The Mission of the Buford Pusser Home and Museum is to preserve the integrity of the heritage passed down by Sheriff Pusser and his family.  The house was donated to the City of Adamsville by Sheriff Pusser's daughter, Dwana, with the understanding the house would stand as a monument to her father's great history in cleaning up this part of Tennessee, and preserving what life was like for their family.
