Mission Statement

The Buffalo Public Library's mission is to provide Buffalo and the surrounding community with reliable information and to offer the opportunity and encouragement to persons of all ages to continue their education. The Buffalo Library will collect, preserve and make readily available to all Patrons, printed and other materials that will assist them to:

Keep pace with progress in all fields of knowledge and to help them become better members of their families and community.

To continue their education for the future.
C. Appreciate and enjoy works of arts and literature.

Make use of leisure time to promote personal and social well-being through recreation and self-education.

Provide a "family friendly" environment in the Library.
